What better way to spend a quiet afternoon than bringing some of the Church's most beautiful mysteries to life with color?
Feasts of Our Lord and Our Lady presents 23 exquisite illustrations by Catholic artist Matthew Alderman, originally commissioned as artwork for a Missal and now gathered into a coloring book for older children and adults.
From the joys of Christmas and the Epiphany to the Institution of the Holy Eucharist and Our Lord's glorious Ascension, these richly detailed compositions depict the great events of our salvation. Other illustrations honor Our Blessed Lady through the feasts and titles by which the Church celebrates her.
Drawing on the traditions of Catholic sacred art, Alderman fills his designs with graceful figures, intricate ornament, and carefully composed details that reward a closer look. The result is a collection that invites you to linger over the mysteries depicted, enjoying the beauty of the artwork while making each illustration your own.
Whether you're looking for a satisfying artistic challenge or a way to immerse yourself in the beautiful mysteries of our Faith, these pages offer something far more lasting than a passing coloring-book craze.
